Unbowed Nancy shows no fear of dismissal but supporters show fury following defeat.
Wilfried Nancy insisted he did not fear losing his job, claiming, “We are extremely close to things turning around,” even after sliding worryingly close to the chopping block with a heavy loss to their arch-rivals.

“The level we had at stages was of top quality. This is the reality. I could not say that if it was not the case. But that’s why, regarding outcomes, I said we've seen this before. That’s why I believe we are really close to things turning around. But for the moment: details, details, details.”
“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. But now is consistency. My narrative would be different the same. Therefore I am convinced the team can to turn things around.”
The Rangers Boss Stance
The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge even after what felt like a landmark win. “We take it game by game, so we can gradually build momentum,” he said. “The belief in the team is excellent.”
