The Lionesses versus China – Female Exhibition Fixture
Overview
Greetings and welcome to the non-competitive match between England and the Chinese squad at the iconic Wembley. An exciting encounter is anticipated with the reigning European champions competing against the current Asian Cup champions.
England’s national stadium is packed for the occasion, which will see the celebrated Fran Kirby celebrated pre-match after her retirement from the national team before the European Championship this past summer.
Lineup details will be revealed soon, but there was a late squad update for England. On Friday, the goalkeeper Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a small issue, and so previous starter Ellie Roebuck has been summoned.
With Hannah Hampton out of action, it will be notable to find out who England manager Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. That news and all the other updates are coming up before the start of the match at 17:30 GMT.
Squad Updates
Squad details are now available. Anna Moorhouse starts in goal for England in the non-presence of Hannah Hampton and Khiara Keating.
The Lionesses: Moorhouse, Bronze, Charles, Walsh, Le Tissier, Morgan, Mead, Stanway, Russo, Toone, Hemp.
Reserves: Hings, Baggaley, Kendall, Wubben-Moy, Beever-Jones, Kelly, Kearns, Park, Blindkilde Brown, Roebuck, Clinton, Denton, Fisk, Godfrey.
We are awaiting China’s team news now; as soon as I have it, I will provide the update.

Maunch Appearance
The upcoming fixture will be Anna Moorhouse's debut for England. She featured in the Euro-winning side who claimed victory this past summer, but she did not feature with Hannah Hampton in the first-choice keeper position.
