The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Traffic Collision

Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
